Nick Cave
THE GUARDIAN - yesterday morning Michel Faber’s outstanding review ran in the Guardian where it was chosen as Book of the Week - http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2009/sep/12/death-of-bunny-munro-review
It’s the first time Michel has ever reviewed a Canongate book for the Guardian as he has understandably felt uneasy about reviewing books published by his own publisher. But he has made an exception for Nick’s novel and when you read what he has to say I think you will be glad he did. It’s perceptive and positive and I hope something that might be especially helpful internationally. Michel’s books are translated into 32 languages.
THE OBSERVER, following on the very good review last w/e in the Observer Music Monthly Magazine, ran a major review today by Sean O’Hagan on the Books pages. Like the Faber, it is smart and insightful and sizeable and should send even more readers to the book.

The Guardian ran on their website a 20 minute interview with Nick. It was done by their literary editor, Claire Armitstead, and we all think it is excellent. http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/audio/2009/sep/10/nick-cave-bunny-munro
Ditto the interview on Front Row, Radio 4’s most important arts show which ran last Tuesday. It’s much shorter than the Guardian one but also very good and Nick is as charming and eloquent as ever: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mfjpl
The interview starts around the 5min 45second mark.
And just this morning Nick was interviewed on Andrew Marr’s BBC1 show – about 6 mins long and starting about 35mins into the show.
