Outdoor sports are one of the Zilvermeer's specialities. Whether you decide to get wet or stay dry, you can find plenty of choice here!
if you want to stay dry you can reserve a whole series of sports, such as beach volleyball or beach football, adventure trophy, high ropes course, … The sports fields are excellently suited for tennis, indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball and 'jeux de boules'.
If you are a real water rat, then a 25 hectare water sports lake awaits you. On request and in a group you can follow water sports lessons: sailing, kayaking, and surfing. The lake is also ideal for diving.
The jogging track
At Zilvermeer you can not only run on the paths and on grass but also on a jogging track with a special absorbent surface, a safe jogging circuit which is accessible to all.
The jogging track uses a carefully developed concept, which has come to us from Scandinavia. At Zilvermeer the track uses a stable and slightly sprung rubber surface. The soft, shock-absorbent top layer provides a comfortable running surface and helps prevent injuries: thanks to the shock-absorbent effect of the surface, joints and back are subject to considerably less impact while running. Experience has shown that a jogging track of this type is ideal for both beginners and seasoned runners.
In the evenings the track is lit after sunset (using automatic sensors) until 22:30, so that it can be used throughout the year. You can access it via a gate in the day recreation area up to 20:45. You can then leave the park by the turnstiles.
Free use of the track
Access to the track is free for everyone. So you do not need to be staying at the park in order to make use of it. During the high and mid-season you will pay the normal entry charge for access to the park.
Tip: with an annual season ticket you can enjoy a preferential price for year-round access to everything that Zilvermeer can offer!
