Cycling
Mol is the place to be for cyclists. Let there be no doubt about it. If you want to race across the canals on your mountain bike, or catch your breath on a terrace, you can be sure to be more than catered for here. This region probably has the most amount of cycling kilometres in the whole of Belgium.
Spotlight on: New! Zilvermeer is a cycling paradise!
Book your cycling package when you book your accommodation in the log cabins or one of the tourist campsites – the perfect way to discover the natural surroundings of the Zilvermeer!
For just € 10 extra per booking every member of the family gets a free rental bike for the whole period of their stay (up to a maximum of one week per booking). In addition you get one free map of the cycle junction network per booking (regular price: € 5 each).
In 2012 you can book the cycling package during the following periods: 01 January to 07 April, 05 May to 26 May, 31 August to 11 November and 21 December to 31 December. The cycling package can be combined with the municipality of Mol’s new ‘Storyteller’ option. See below.

Nothing beats exploring the natural environment on a bicycle! Zilvermeer has a bicycle hire service which can be used by both guests and visitors. Accessories such as child seats and bicycle map holders are also available.
Bicycle hire per day: € 7 (available all year round)
Bicycle hire for groups/day: € 6 (minimum 15 paying customers)
New: children’s bicycle hire € 4 euro per day.

Bicycle workshop
The park uses the services of the non-profit organisation Fietsenatelier Mol for bicycle maintance. This is a project for the integration of the long-term unemployed back into employment.
Intensive individual and group supervision is combined with supervised work experience in the bicycle workshop. The outcome is an excellently maintained bicycle!

Storyteller!
Discover Mol and its surroundings by bicycle with the Storyteller, a satellite-guided cycle route enhanced with images and audio clips. The GPS guides you along the most beautiful and interesting places in our municipality. The basic route is 32 kilometres and can be extended by a further 23 kilometres.
The GPS must be reserved in the municipal tourist office (tel. +32 (0) 14 33 07 85). Departures and arrivals are from the tourist office at the Market in the Mol town centre.
