Each time you stay at the Zilvermeer it is always an experience. The surroundings rich in nature and the family atmosphere guarantee an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful places in the Kempen.

There are various formulas for your overnight stay at the Zilvermeer, from a simple camping place to a comfortable log cabin. You are sure to find a place to your liking!

You can choose from:

• the bivouac for groups of up to 50 people
• the comfortable log cabins 
• the camp site
• the hikers' huts

Scheduled major events

Events are regularly hosted by the Zilvermeer park, which tries to minimise any nuisance for other visitors or guests. The two major festivals in 2011, i.e. the Daydream Festival and Pennenzakkenrock, may cause (noise) nuisance; please take this into consideration or book a stay in another period. The Daydream Festival will take place on Saturday April 16 and Pennenzakkenrock on Tuesday June 28. The assembly and disassembly will take approximately one week before and a few days after the event.

Thanks to Zilvermeer's efforts to promote sustainable and environmentally-friendly tourism, the park was awarded the "Green Key" eco-badge.

To obtain the Green Key you have to meet strict requirements relating to your environmental policy. You can find more information on the Green Key website.

The Green Key is an international programme run by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). In Flanders the Green Key (or Groene Sleutel) is managed by the Association for a Better Living Environment (Bond Beter Leefmilieu), with the support of Flanders Tourism.
