Gardens

A magnificent display of colour to take your breath away. The Vrijbroekpark has built up its reputation with its collections of plants. Thanks to our gardeners' efforts, they can bloom in total profusion.

In 2003 the rose garden was nominated for an Award of Garden Excellence.
The dahlia garden is one of the most multifaceted in Flanders, but the perennials, the canna lily garden, the fruit collection and the collection of peonies are certainly also worth a mention.

The plant collection forms the basis around which our activities aimed at the public are developed.
