A nursery for more than 150 years
Charles Van Geert and Antoine Kort had their own nursery on the current site of Arboretum Kalmthout. More than 150 years later it is now a special plant centre with a simple but special mission: to offer a varied and innovative selection of high-quality garden plants.
Special fertilizer
Specific fertilizer advice is available for each group of plants. In the gift & bookshop you will find several types of top-quality fertilizer in handy packages.
10 percent discount on purchases
Members of Arboretum Kalmthout receive a 10 percent discount on their plant purchases on production of their membership card. During the End-of-Season Event they even get a discount of 40 percent or more. The discount is deducted immediately at the cash desk.
Free admission
Entry to the plant centre is free. You do not need to buy a ticket. Unfortunately, during some popular events, the plant centre is only open to people with a valid entrance ticket for the arboretum garden.
