Arboretum Kalmthout possesses one of the best and most varied plant collections of the European mainland. The garden displays hundreds of roses, more than six hundred different azaleas and rhododendrons, magnolias, cherry trees, Japanese maple trees and much more. The with hazels of Arboretum Kalmthout are world famous. In January and February the Witch hazel festival takes place to celebrate the unique winter bloom of the old and wide-growing witch hazels. More than numbers and names, the beauty of the garden seduces visitors in every season.
