Vangeertenhof

Historical location

The historic Vangeertenhof

The Vangeertenhof dates back to 1885 and was originally the summer residence of the Van Geerts. It was completely renovated in 2000. From the stately building you have a magnificent view deep into the arboretum garden. The garden patio at the back is an additional asset when the weather is dry.

The ground floor contains three multi-purpose drawing rooms. Two moveable walls can turn the drawing rooms into one. Therefore, the Vangeertenhof is suitable for small companies and for larger groups. For receptions there is room for up to 90 people.

Receptions and dinners

Catered receptions

There is a fully-equipped reception kitchen available. A service is available for receptions and dinners for up to 40 people. You can also bring or rent additional service.

You can supply the reception yourself, but this can also be arranged through the kitchen of the cafeteria at Arboretum Kalmthout or through one of our caterers. You are also free to use your own caterer.

Exhibitions and lectures

The walls are provided with rails and a display system for exhibitions, and moveable spots are built in the ceilings. You can also use easels, different models of display cases and lots of pedestals.

The de Belder drawing room can be completely darkened, allowing you to hold slide and video presentations. This drawing room also allows for the set-up of a long meeting table with twelve seats.
